WOOT WOOT TWILIGHT!!

OMG OMG OMG!!! I am a total Twilight nerd in case you didnt know and I was so addicted that I read the whole SERIES yes kids thats 4 books in one week! I LOVE IT!!! So Jodie and I went and saw the movie on Friday in American Fork and pretty much every showing of it after ours was sold out. I guess there are people out there that are just as crazy as me about it. I have infected other people with my Twilight disease as well, 3 people at my work including my boss, and Mom and Jodie. The rest of you need to jump on board because its fantastic.

So back to the movie... it was pretty good. The guy who plays Edward was cute but most definately not as hot as I thought he would be and the character Jasper in the movie was borderline creepy! haha I thought he looked like a crazy rapist! Jodie and I talked a lot through the movie so I'm sure people were getting pretty annoyed but we had to compare notes. So if you are a twilight nerd like me I will tell you that in the movie they clump all the big important events together but still somehow manage to miss a few. I think that if they would have just made the movie longer then it would have evened it all out. So go see it if you have read at least the first twilight book but DONT go if you havent because that would make you a cheater and us twilight fans do not want cheaters in our mix! haha and you probably wont really understand what is going on without the proper knowledge from the book. I think I just might go see it a few more times haha I have literally been waiting for this movie to come out for like 6 months so I am going to see it as much as I can before the long wait for it to come onto DVD.

Ok so because I havent posted anything in awhile and because work is kinda boring right now I decided to go ahead and play the little tag game that my sister has decided to play with me.


8 TV SHOWS I LIKE TO WATCH: Greys Anatomy (i love me some McDreamy!!), Samantha Who?, Desperate Housewives, Friends (I have the seasons on DVD), Will & Grace (I own the whole series), Extreme Makeover home edition, Law & Order SVU, Brothers and Sisters.

8 THINGS I DID YESTERDAY: Went to stupid Jiffy Lube for my Stupid car, went to work, went to Costa Vida with Brooke (we had gift certificates that needed to be used), Did some toe nail surgeries with Dr.Seagle, helped mom with her drapes dilema, watched friends, watched will & grace, fell asleep at like 10 and woke up at 2 AM for some odd reason..dont worry I was able to fall bak asleep.

8 THINGS I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO: PAY DAY!!!, Vegas for the NFR, getting my hair done.. ha it is looking pretty bad, Thanksgiving, Day after thanksgiving shopping, Christmas, getting all my stuff paid off, winter..not the driving but the cozy at home with snow outside part.

8 THINGS ON MY WISH LIST: a new car (Mazda 6 :) ), money...lots and lots of it, a new juicy purse for christmas, black ugg boots, a good score on my CPT, good grades, get into the nursing program before I'm like 40, be HAPY :)

Country boys and girls!!!

The farm, what more can I say? there is so much to do and not nearly enough time to do it.  I dont get myself out there as much as I should, but anytime I do its always a good time.  Hunter, Raegan, and Macie spend the majority of their time out there so anytime I go I know that I am guaranteed some time with two shadows ( it will become three I'm sure once Macie becomes more mobile). 

            Dirk wanted the kids to pick some apricots one weekend so he came up with this brilliant idea to put Steven, Colton, Hunter, and Raegan in the loader bucket and then locate them in the best place high up in the apricot tree.  They all just looked so cute up in a tree in the loader bucket going to work well... Raegan Lou was just kind of sitting up there playing with sticks singing the Taylor Swift "should've said no" song haha which was equally cute. So while the kids were "paying attention to their business" as Dirk put it. I wandered over to the horses and got some really nice pictures. I also got some really cute pictures of Macie, but really are there ever any non-cute pictures? haha 

I want to be a Sex in The City girl

Wow Sex and the City! what a fantastic beautimus, brilliant show. The shoes, the clothes, the cosmopolitans. What a life! not to mention the men! wow Carrie gets her fair share of beautiful men on the show as do Miranda,Charlotte, and of course Samantha. This show is part of the reason that I want to take a trip to New York. Just to pretend that I am one of those high class hot New York City girls for a little while. Although I wont be able to spend like one of those high class New York City girls. Manolo Blahnik shoes alone cost about 500 dollars a pair!! wow! and on the show Carrie spends over 40,ooo dollars on shoes alone. See this is why people in New York dont drive cars because they cant afford them. Especially with shopping trips that can cost in the thousands.

Get yourself in the fabulous New York City mood.

Go rent all 6 seasons of the show watch them non stop and go see the movie. Dont think that watching the little re-runs on TBS will get you the full dose of SATC that you need. You have got to watch the real episodes that came on HBO. A little F.Y.I dont watch it with your kids, especially if you watch the HBO versions. They dont call it Sex and the City for nothing!

I need a Vacation

I decided that my next big vacation spot will be New York City. Hello shopping!!! I discussed this brilliant idea with Jodie and we came up with the solution that we will go in fall of 09' that way I will be 21 and be able to enjoy it so much more! (dang July birthdays) New York is just one of those places you've got to see to believe. I want to go to the Today show and Rachel Ray (LOVE her)and get some sweet freebies just for being in the audience. Of course there must be some shopping included on this trip although I doubt I will be able to afford anything but its nice to pretend you have money. Woo hoo look out New York here I come....ha ha in like a year but still get prepared

I'm getting a bike

This is just one of those things that is so ridiculous I have to share it.

I have no idea why cars need to cost so much flippin money! It costs me about 50 dollars a week to fill my car with gas, 65-75 dollars every three thousand miles to get the oil changed and now I come to discover that there is a serious leak with my water pump and now that needs to be replaced. Also, because it is a volkswagon (stupid german engineering) it costs way more because the parts have to be ordered from a dealership. Every belt, every fan, every water pump. It needs special kind of oil, special kind of anti freeze.....are you serious? This should be in writing before they let you buy the car...WARNING:: although this car may appear "cute" and "fun" you will be paying out the butt so you can justify just how cute this damn thing really is. I am really thinking about investing in a scooter, who cares if I can only motor about 40 miles an hour at least I will get 90 miles to the gallon and not have to worry about all the water pump and timing belts crap.
